Janice Christensen Killed in Pedestrian vs Car Accident in Sacramento
The California Highway Patrol is looking for a Sacramento hit-and-run driver in connection with the death of Janice Christensen. It was reported that Christensen had been seen pushing a shopping cart in the Arden Way and Maple Glen intersection. The CHP is trying to determine if the pedestrian was actually inside of the crosswalk line when she was struck. Christensen was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The fatal hit and run accident in Sacramento is believed to be caused by a black 2003 Lincoln SUV or similar vehicle. The SUV was traveling westbound on Arden Way when Christensen entered the crosswalk in the slow lane. They are still trying to determine if she had been walking completely in the designated crosswalk or just near it. The SUV immediately fled the hit and run scene after the pedestrian accident.
The Sacramento Police are looking for a black SUV similar to the one pictured here with possible left front damage. The CHP are asking the public for any leads that will help lead them to the Sacramento hit and run driver. If you know anything about this accident please contact the Sacramento CHP.
